Juan Grullon leads GRUVAS. His enterprise IT career spans more than 20 years across Europe and the United States, with a focus on IT service management, operations, and governance.
Founder & Managing Director
Juan Grullon is the Founder and Managing Director of GRUVAS, a governance-first IT services company built on more than two decades of enterprise technology experience across Europe and the United States. His career has spanned consulting, manufacturing, financial services, and multinational organizations, with a focus on IT governance, service management, operations, asset management, automation, and technology transformation.
Throughout his career, Juan observed a recurring challenge: organizations were rarely held back by a lack of technology. More often, they struggled because ownership was unclear, processes were informal, operational knowledge depended on individuals, and governance, cost control, and service performance were managed as separate concerns.
That insight became the foundation for GRUVAS.
Across more than 20 years in IT Service Management and Operations, Juan has led teams and helped organizations move multi-site IT environments from reactive, person-dependent practices toward a more structured, measurable, and standards-based service model.
He strengthened ITIL-aligned incident, request, change, onboarding, documentation, KPI, and continuous-improvement practices. He also led initiatives involving a cloud service-management platform migration, IT asset management integration, Microsoft 365 transition activities, Teams Rooms deployment, and the automation of service-request and onboarding workflows.
His subsequent work in a regulated financial-services environment expanded his perspective on governance, compliance, and financial accountability. As an IT Asset Manager, he managed enterprise software licensing and asset controls, supported audit readiness, developed software usage and entitlement dashboards, conducted vendor-compliance reviews, and connected technical asset data with finance, risk, and organizational decision-making.
These experiences shaped Juan's operating philosophy: technology must be managed as both an operational capability and a governed business investment. Tools alone cannot transform an organization. Sustainable improvement requires clear ownership, documented processes, reliable data, executive sponsorship, and a team prepared to adopt change.
Through GRUVAS, Juan helps organizations build structured, secure, measurable, and scalable IT environments, turning technology from a reactive support function into a strategic business capability.
